Crohn’s Disease Clinical Trial

Crohn’s disease is a type of IBD. Inflammation of the digestive tract can cause abdominal pain, fatigue, diarrhea, malnutrition, and weight loss. The inflammation often spreads to deeper levels of the bowel. Living with Crohn’s can be painful and debilitating. Currently, there is no cure for Crohn’s but there are treatments that can help manage symptoms.

This study requires 10 visits to our Omaha, NE facility, daily documentation, and procedures such as blood draws, colonoscopies, chest x-rays, rectal exams, and EKGs. Participants may receive a placebo or the study medication as an oral pill. If participants respond to the study medication, they may be eligible for an extension study where they will receive active medication until approved by the FDA.

To qualify for the trial you must:

  • Be diagnosed with Crohn’s disease by a physician
  • Other criteria may apply*
