SHINGLES VACCINE

The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate if the study vaccine, JCXH-105, can help prevent shingles in healthy adults over the age of 50. Shingles is caused by the reactivation of varicella zoster virus (VZV) and manifests as painful skin rashes.

The potential benefits to participants would be study-related medical care at no-cost and knowledge gained about their health. On a wider scale, there may be general benefits to society because the investigational vaccine may become a future option.

To qualify for the study, you must be:

  • Healthy male or female adult
  • 50 years of age or older
  • Have not received shingles vaccine already
  • Other criteria may apply*

*There are multiple studies available to participate in and each may require different criteria to be approved as a participant.
